This is the last month that Vroom Karting Magazine will be published. As sad as that is, it’s the hard truth.
The magazine has been an added value over the course of this editorial project, especially during recent times with AI creeping much too nonchalantly into the landscape of our media.
Even today, using paper as a medium – which most publishers, including Vroom, do in this sector – is considered the most effective means for creating an archive from which to draw knowledge about any subject. As for our platform, printing on paper allowed us to tell the story of karting while also expressing a radical stance. But politics aside, although printing on paper may seem quite spartan today, it is still considered as one of the most efficient mediums: what’s printed on paper is indelible. That is why I’m convinced that this solution must not be completely abandoned. As a confirmation of the way I see it, I am happy to inform you that at the end of each competitive season, we will be drawing up an end-of-year book and publishing it on paper, like we used to do in the 1990’s.
