THE clash of the two unbeaten sides went the way of DEWSBURY MOOR MAROONS, who are riding high at the head of the table after seeing off WIGAN ST PATRICKS 24-6.
Dewsbury Moor, who were promoted from Division Two last season, were only 8-6 ahead at the break against a Pats outfit who, although unbeaten prior to the fixture, had already had six points deducted by the NCL management for failing to play games in 2023.
It was a different story in the second period, however. Aaron James crossed on 42 minutes, and that score was followed in the final quarter by a try for Jack Clarkson.
