June Horse&Rider is out now! It's full of great training advice, management know-how, horsey shopping and great prizes, just for you.

Many readers won’t feel comfortable riding and potentially putting strain on our NHS, so we’re encouraging a ‘read now, ride later’ approach, with the hope our training advice will prove useful when the restrictions are lifted – besides, we’ve got plenty to keep you busy without needing to get in the saddle.

Badminton winner Piggy March shares a great exercise to help you see a stride – you’ll be hitting the correct take-off spot flawlessly every time. Plus, nothing can flourish without a strong foundation, least of all your horse’s schooling. That’s why dressage star Michael Eilberg is on hand to guide you through the first scales of training. If you want to add a little more pizazz to your horse’s paces, be sure to check our Alex Harrison’s latest instalment of top test riding advice. Or, if you’re looking for something a bit different, Tom Monaghan shares his methods of spicing up schooling with polework and Fizz Marshall shows you how to integrate interval training into your riding regime.

Getting back in the saddle after a fall is a challenge every rider faces at some point, yet few people want to talk about it – performance coach Bonita explains what you can do to rebuild your confidence. Meanwhile, Anna Haines explains all you need to know about herd dynamics and Lucy Meehan talks detection, treatment and outcome for tendon injuries. We’ve got lots of horsey shopping to share with you including our tests of the best fly sprays and whitening shampoos, as well as our top picks for this month.

Plus, don’t forget to enter our fabulous competitions, you could win a rug bundle from Weatherbeeta and we’ve got some fantastic prizes in our monthly giveaway page – download your copy of June Horse&Rider today!

UK's top equestrian Mag

UK's best-selling equestrian monthly Révision 13 août 2020

Best horse mag ever

Just bought some back issues and a subscription. Used to buy it from the feed barn. Really like the way I can access the old issues whenever I like, and it is so quick to open. And this is the best all round read for me. Révision 16 juillet 2013
