"We are saying hello to Autumn in the October issue of Popular Patchwork with a great selection of seasonal projects. Little Acorns is an applique picture designed by Greta Fitchett, and in Autumn Bunting Ruth Lazarus shows how to turn small pictorial blocks into beautiful bunting to hang on the wall. There are projects for the home including Lila’s Kitchen, a table runner with a set of four matching placemats designed by Lynne Goldsworthy for Makower Uk, and cover project Time for Tea where Debbie Von Grabler-Crozier shows you how to make a pretty tea cosy and matching mat.
We also have plenty of quilts! Sarah Williamson’s 3D Tiles quilt uses clever piecing to create a stunning visual effect. Retro Boxes is an easy to make asymmetric Log Cabin quilt using just three fabrics along with hand printed panels, and Judith Hollies Bear Paws quilt makes a bold statement with oversized blocks and a fresh yellow, orange and white colour way.
