BREAK THE CYCLE
If the (hopefully) warmer weather is tempting you to swop your commute from stuffy public transport to easy-breezy cycling, new brand Meander Apparel has the jacket for you. Recently launched on crowd-funding site Indiegogo, the Scotland-based label’s debut product fuses fashion with functionality and is made with high-performance and environmentally friendly Italian fabrics, to suit both the style-savvy commuter and those out for a relaxing ride. But just because you’re not being squeezed into a too-tight, neon ensemble doesn’t mean you don’t get all the tech you need from a good cycling jacket: it’s waterproof, breathable and lightweight, with reflective cuffs and rear pocket to ensure you’ll be seen, plus there’s a phone pocket and headphone eyelet if you’re a music-onthe- move type of guy. And when (or if) those temperatures reach t-shirt weather stage, fold the jacket away into its back pouch and carry it as either a rucksack or messenger bag, or use the leather straps to roll it up and attach beneath the bike seat.
