We’ve had more than a couple of hours of sunshine, so it’s officially coming up to the hot season. What better way of celebrating than by settling down to read the summer special edition of DieselCar. In the July issue, we bring you an easy to understand, step-by-step guide to valeting your car, and how to bring it back to showroom condition after the woeful winter. We’ve also been out and about in Volkswagen’s Caddy Maxi Camper to see if this new compact holidaying machine is really capable of cutting it with the best.
We’ve also been testing the latest BMW 3 Series GT, the substantially updated Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet and Skoda’s updated Superb, as well as the refreshed Jeep Grand Cherokee and cavernous Skoda Octavia Estate. We’ve been behind the wheel of the super quick Audi SQ5, and experiencing purity thanks to the recently updated, British-built Nissan Leaf.
Ford’s new Kuga meets the Toyota RAV4 in an SUV grudge match, while Renault’s shapely new Clio fights it out with Ford’s popular Fiesta. There’s also tests of the all-new Range Rover, facelifted Suzuki Grand Vitara and Infiniti’s updated FX30d. There’s also On Test reports of the SsangYong Korando Sports Pick-up and Kia’s Soul in outlandish Inferno specification.
Not only that, there’s a feature on what the upcoming Euro 6 emissions regulations mean for you, and an easy to understand guide to the changes to company car tax. There’s also a bigger and more informative used car buyer’s guide, which this month is concentrated on the Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 DI-D.

diesel, green cars, electric mag

The UK’s leading magazine for diesel, green cars, electric, hybrids and alternative fuelled vehicles, full of advice on tech, mechanics, future plans. great photos inspiring reviews Revisto 21 agosto 2022

I like the way it has evolved over the years

I have been buying it in print and online since the early 2000s and I like that it always has focused on the economy end of motoring, or us cheapskates if you like. It has moved to covering hybrids and electric cars which is good, and hasn't forgotten its roots - diesels.

It's a friendly, down to early mag and Doctor Diesel is still the best bit.

Very Informative

Appears to be a great publication. Wish I could get it in print in the states. Revisto 24 novembro 2012
