Well that was a turn up for the books.
I definitely didn't have my crystal ball out ahead of the General Election.
So the Conservatives lost their overall majority and have had to rely on the DUP to form a minority Government.
So much for strong and stable and a solid platform for Brexit negotiations.
So more uncertainty surrounds our EU withdrawal negotiations and the relative strength and longevity of the present government.
Will Theresa May be able to hold on as Prime Minister or is there another election looming in a few months' time?
So, at the moment, it is just a case of keep calm and carry on, again.
What we do know for certain is that the seasons of the year stay the same.
We take a look at the Back to School market, how to break into it and how to make the most of it.
There are also a few tips on how to get ready for Halloween and maximise your store's potential.
For an added bit of bling we also examine the beading and jewellery market.
There is an interview with Laura Ells, from Creative Beadcraft, as she tells us about the history of the company and the changing face of beading.
We also take a look at the importance of holding open days and lessons for a beading store with Essex's Deborah Beads.
Esme Young gives us her thoughts ahead of The Great British Sewing Bee Live.
Also we spend five minutes with freelance jewellery designer, teacher and TV demonstrator Sarah Millsop.

Craft Business is more than just a B2B magazine; it is an industry institution that for more than 12 years has uncovered the latest trade launches and sales trends, while offering business advice aimed directly at the specialist craft and hobby retailer.

Published eight times a year and supported by our popular online resource, CraftBusiness.com – the magazine covers all markets relevant to its readership including papercraft; stitching and haberdashery; jewellery and beading; knitting; general arts and crafts; and media, digital and online information. In-depth features exploring profit opportunities across the industry are complemented by advice from retail experts, comments from market leaders, and fresh perspectives from retailers themselves. Drawing on the experiences of these diverse voices, Craft Business reflects the challenges facing today's craft retailers and offers inspiration, innovation and support for their growth.

In addition to the magazine, back in 2012 Craft Business was able to take advantage of its position in the market and launched the only annual directory for the Craft & Hobby industry, comprehensively listing companies in the industry in one easy-to-use guide, available in both print and online.
