WESTJET IS set to acquire five additional Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, with delivery expected in early 2025. Three will come via a leasing agreement with CDB Aviation, and two from Avolon.
Speaking of the additions to the fleet, Mike Scott, WestJet Group chief financial officer said: “We are adding these five aircraft to our 737 MAX family very soon and we look forward to this additional capacity enhancing our already forecasted fleet expansion, further enabling our execution of providing affordable and diverse air travel options for our guests.”
