Vintage Trucks & Commercials  |  Jan/ Feb 2019
Issue #51 of Vintage Trucks & Commercials Magazine brings in the New Year with a extensive pictorial of trucking in Australia. We cover pictorials on Tankers through the years as well as a section on a Truckie with a Camera from the late 70's and early 80's, and we visit the 37th Annual Historic Display Commercial Vehicle show that was recently held.
We have part one of Tasmanian Searoads and the early days of A.J. Hyland and Sons with the sale to Burnie Searoads. The International Harvester AACO-174 series, The history of Chev trucks within South Australia with Farmers Union Butter and a technical article title "Two-Speed Axles and Matching Gearboxes" which covers in detail the technical aspects, charts and ratios of these fascinating devices. And we revisit an article asked by many on "Classic Australian Peterbilts" which featured in issue 1 to 3 of our magazine all those years ago. As always we have the usual features of trucking events coming up around the country, news and letters from interested readers, Truck Art and the Classifieds section where a host of trucks and others items are up for sale.
