Now the impact of this type of police investigation is explored in Channel 4’s thought-provoking four-part drama National Treasure. Penned by Bafta-winning writer Jack Thorne, it centres on fictional comedian Paul Finchley, played by Robbie Coltrane, and his wife Marie, played by Julie Walters.
