NEW DRAMA: SEAL TEAM
It’s six years since the chiselled features of David Boreanaz last graced the front cover of TV&Satellite Week. Back then, the American actor was riding high in the ratings with Bones, the offbeat crime drama that followed FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth as he tracked down serial killers and romanced scientist Dr Temperance ‘Bones’ Brennan, played by Emily Deschanel. The series came to an end last year after twelve seasons, but Boreanaz hasn’t wasted any time in enlisting in another high-profile project, returning to our screens this week in Sky One’s military drama SEAL Team. The twenty two part series follows Bravo Team, an elite unit of the United States Navy SEALs, as they undertake life-threatening missions across the globe. Boreanaz plays Jason Hayes, leader of the unit, who is haunted by the death of a colleague, for which he blames himself.
