The Super League Grand Final between St Helens and Wigan turned out to be one of the most controversial sporting events of the year. We have complete coverage of the match everyone is talking about.
We also head down under for the NRL Grand Final between Souths and the Canterbury Bulldogs, dubbed the 'Battle of Britain' as English stars Sam Burgess and James Graham came face to face in a classic showdown for the title.
That's not all as we celebrate Grand Final victories with Leigh Centurions and Hunslet Hawks too in the Championships.
With the domestic season now over, focus turns to the international game and we have previews of the European Championships and the Four Nations.
Elsewhere, JJB meets ambitious Dewsbury Rams coach Glenn Morrison and Dave Hadfield looks back at those players who, like Sam Burgess, ignored serious injury to perform heroics on the field of play.
Nigel Wiskar visits the Hive to witness the last Super League game between relegated London Broncos and Bradford Bulls, and Matt Cook talks to us about joining Castleford.
The much-travelled Michael Platt tells us about his chequered career to date and we catch up with former Hull great Steve Crooks.
Plus there’s all the usual round-ups from down under, the women’s game and Academy scene in another packed issue.
