Essential Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom  |  July 2017
Some time ago we all fell in love with the idea of a freestanding tub setting off your perfect scheme, but who knew just how far we’d go with the idea of modular furniture becoming such a design statement? The roll top bath and standalone dressing table and basin unit have now become the centrepiece in so many luxurious hotel bathrooms. Our real homes this issue include a luxe industrial space in London (Without Walls, page 22), white cabinetry with gold accents (Style with Substance, page 36) and a beautifully symmetrical hand-painted kitchen in a Victorian home (Harmony & Light, page 60). There are so many ideas here, we think you’ll have a busy summer just deciding where to start. Enjoy the issue, and here’s to the long sunny days that lie ahead...
