ROYAL JORDANIAN Airlines’ first two Embraer E195-E2s have joined the fleet. In total, eight examples are expected to operate on RJ’s short and medium-range routes. The new aircraft bear the names of the cities of Ramtha and Ma’an, following an established RJ airframe naming convention to promote the country as a tourist destination.
With the induction of the inaugural E2s, the carrier unveiled an updated livery featuring a wraparound gold line with a red flash behind the nosewheel in place of the original gold cheatline on previous iterations of the scheme.
