NEW DARK COMEDY: CAMPING
David Tennant shows off his American accent this week when he joins Jennifer Garner in Sky Atlantic’s new US comedy drama Camping, executive produced by Girls creator Lena Dunham. Based on Julia Davis’ UK original, shown in 2016, the eight-part series, which starts with a double bill, sees obsessively organised Kathryn (Garner) invite friends and family on a ‘back to nature’ birthday camping trip for her husband Walt (Tennant). But soon after arriving at the Brown Bear Lake campsite, the group’s bonds are tested, and heightened emotions threaten to ruin the weekend. We met up with forty seven year old Tennant, to hear more.
