Seeing as it’s peak summer we figured what better car to have on the cover of our August edition than a convertible, and this is no ordinary E46 M3 soft-top… This full-on custom build is packing 523whp courtesy of its uprated and modified supercharger kit, because the standard kit wasn’t enough for the owner, and it’s slammed on coilovers, sitting on 20s, and absolutely covered in carbon both inside and out, and it looks utterly awesome with it. Sticking with wild, forced induction builds, we’ve got a hardcore turbo E36 from right here in the UK for you to get your teeth into, and we’ve also got an awesome wide-body M4 that’s got to be one of the most aggressive machines we’ve seen. Slightly less furious, but no less fast, is the gorgeous Avus blue supercharged E39 M5 we’ve squeezed into this issue, and it’s just such a good build of one of BMW’s best-ever M cars. We also have a pair of twin E91 Tourings, one a 335i and one a 320d, both of which have been given a whole host of styling and performance upgrades; a Canadian E30 running a 3.1 M20; and, last but not least, one of the finest E34 builds we’ve ever seen, an absolutely show-stopping Five that will blow you away.
