August’s Crafty Carper features a whole host of tactics, tips and approaches to help you catch more fish during the warmer period. We’ve put together a great line-up of anglers who share some fantastic edges to help combat the issues that all carp anglers face at this time of year. This issue includes Gardner Tackle’s Alan Stagg, who shares his knowledge of how to make small traps and precisely place rigs in likely-looking areas. This will help you catch more fish when the going is tough on weedy waters, where fish can be scattered all across the lake. There are tips from Jon McAllister who gives some excellent advice on a first trip abroad. He discusses the ins and outs of what to expect when travelling overseas in the hunt for some huge European carp. Lee Wagner is this month’s Rig Mechanic, and shows us a rig which has been producing the goods for him time and time again. As well as this, there’s all the latest and greatest bait and tackle on the market in the Carp Food and Carpers’ Kit sections. Pick up your copy today, and you too could be slipping the net under more carp during the month of August, using some of the top tips and advice in this month’s issue.

Very enjoyable magazine!

This is my first time reading a crafty carper and it is very diverse with a lot of different content from all areas of carping. Got to love an online magazine as it is a ton cheaper than shipping overseas. Revisto 30 janeiro 2013
