The UK experienced an intense heat wave while we were hard at work on this issue, which felt extremely odd given the fact that we were writing about blooms ideal for the colder months! Now that we are heading straight into my favourite time of year, I was delighted when the fabulously festive nuptials of Joanne and Conor (page 30) caught my eye. We’ve also got four other jaw-dropping weddings for you to glean inspiration from, including a sunny day in Capetown (page 46) and an escape to a fairytale château in France (page 38), all featuring dreamy blooms. 2016 has seen many exciting celebrity engagements and so it was only natural that we contacted a few of our favourite experts to find out their predictions for the upcoming nuptials of Mariah Carey, Pippa Middleton, Miley Cyrus and Miranda Kerr – turn to page 26 to see if you agree! We’re also representing home-grown flowers on page 20 and share fun ways to incorporate blooms into your wedding breakfast on page 22.
