Figures released this year show more commuter-size motorcycles and scooters were sold during 2015 than any other year since records began.
As the MICA has said, it's not hard to see why. In today's city centres, parking is a premium and you can fit four bikes into one car space. There's also the question of fuel economy; a car in heavy traffic guzzles fuel, while a small capacity bike uses less and can zip through traffic making journeys faster and less stressful.
