Digital FilmMaker  |  DFM Issue 49
While this issue does have some high-end professionals in evidence, there is also a proportion of people who are choosing to do their own thing independently. A prime example is, of course, Emma Dark, who has recently finished her Salient Minus Ten film, shooting with the trusty Sony A7S II and is now busting a gut to promote the work. That said, Emma did have Philip Bloom as DoP, which is an enviable pair of helping hands to have on board. At the same time, we’ve also got a glimpse at how the folks with a little more budget do it, so the insight into the work of DoP Matthias Bolliger, who’s been shooting his latest project with premium Panasonic equipment is well worth a once over. Elsewhere this issue, we have another raft of projects that cover a wealth of subject matter, with everything from thrillers through to horror on show. There’s also an inspiring tale from Martin Moore, who has managed to move from journalism into a career in video and, as a result, is keeping busy and earning decent money too.
