We’ve recently given Diesel&EcoCar a fresh look, with new features and updated content compared to before. Have you checked out the latest design? If not, don’t forget to pick up a copy.
It’s a bumper month for new model news, with twenty packed pages of the latest model updates – that must be a record! The coverage kicks off with the Cupra Tavascan that is featured on the cover, alongside the sixth generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class. We’ve also got news of the facelifted Renault Clio and awesome new Polestar 4, along with the updated Vauxhall Corsa and the passenger Ford E-Tourneo Courier. Alpine reveals its version of the Renault 5 as a concept, and Volkswagen has finally revealed the ID.7 in all its glory. There will be some unhappy Tesla Model S and Model X buyers about, with news that Tesla won’t be selling the facelifted model in right-hand drive. We’ve also got the first photographs of the smart #3, the MG Cyberster, BMW i7 M70 and the facelifted Porsche Cayenne. Hyundai’s i20 has been updated and we’ve got news of the Citroën C4 X – now available in diesel guise. We’ve got news of Skoda’s future model plans for the next two years, and pictures of the facelifted Peugeot e-2008 and Lexus LM MPV.

This month’s twin test sees the Lexus RX 350h challenge the Mazda CX-60 diesel, and we’ve got first tests of the electric DS 3 E-Tense, the Jeep Grand Cherokee PHEV, Land Rover Defender 130 D300 and the Dacia Duster dCi with its new corporate identity. We also welcome three new cars to the long-term fleet – a Honda CR-V Hybrid, Vauxhall Astra Plug-in Hybrid and SEAT Ateca TDI.

diesel, green cars, electric mag

The UK’s leading magazine for diesel, green cars, electric, hybrids and alternative fuelled vehicles, full of advice on tech, mechanics, future plans. great photos inspiring reviews Beoordeeld op 21 augustus 2022

I like the way it has evolved over the years

I have been buying it in print and online since the early 2000s and I like that it always has focused on the economy end of motoring, or us cheapskates if you like. It has moved to covering hybrids and electric cars which is good, and hasn't forgotten its roots - diesels.

It's a friendly, down to early mag and Doctor Diesel is still the best bit.
