Welcome to the May issue of Cotswold Style, our Food & Festival special, which was the inspiration for our cover photo taken at Hanley Castle and the ideal location for our fashion photoshoot this month. Inside, we highlight the abundance of festivals taking place throughout the Cotswolds this summer, starting in Winchcombe followed by Lechlade then onto Wychwood at Cheltenham Racecourse. Susan Blanchfield's Cotswolds Culture column details them all. We celebrate locally produced food and drink, meeting producers Gloucester Biltong and Martins Meats, as well as The Grape Escape, a specialised wine shop and bar opening on Bath Road at the end of May. We are delighted to introduce two new columnists, Interiors Editor Emeline Watchorn who will be inspiring us with ideas for the home and garden, and Robert Ward from Bank House Investments who will be providing us with a monthly financial 'surgery'.
