Three hundred issues of Auto Italia – that’s the happy landmark we’re celebrating this month with a bumper issue that includes our favourite ever Ferrari features and each of our writers’ personal highlights over 25 years. Our main story this month is a mega-Maserati group test of the best modern coupes, from Ghibli Cup to 3200 Assetto Corsa and GranSport MC Victory to GranTurismo MC Stradale. We also test Maserati’s latest 202mph Trofeo V8 saloons. Alfa fans will delight in our road test of a modified 156 GTA SW estate – perhaps the best in Britain – as well as our reminiscences of Alfa Romeo racing. Speaking of racing, our Fiat 128 racer cover car is fully track-tested, while we also have full reports from the latest classic events.
