Steve Collett loves fishing for anything and anywhere. No matter how gorgeous the picture or how magnificent the story behind the capture, there’s always one question: how big? After that has been avoided or answered, the next one, is always, where did you catch it? Well, I am not one of those that keeps a venue secret just so that I can show everyone a ‘look at meee!’ picture. I genuinely want you to go and catch it, or them, yourself but only after I have done it first! This week’s mission revolved around doing just that, catching the fish of the moment the perch, the sergeant, ‘the biggest fish of all’ as Dick Walker reckoned. But not just any perch, a great big ‘un! And then sharing it with everyone!
