Music Magazine Classic Rock Annual Volume 6 Back Issue

It's tough to think that twelve months have passed since we published our previous Classic Rock magazine ‘Best Of’. But yep, pass they have, and as the world has been slowly getting back to normal (or as normal as it’ll ever be!), I’m happy to report that it’s been another fantastic year in the world of high-voltage rock’n’roll reading. Welcome, then, to our ‘Best Of’ Volume VI. It’s an opportunity for us to bring you some of the brilliant stories and interviews that we ran in the magazine over the past year in one convenient place. A remarkable amount of our bands emerged from lockdown with new albums and with a sense of renewed vigour. We venture behind the scenes with brand new conversations with Deep Purple, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Cult, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Journey, Scorpions, Halestorm and Saxon. We sat down for in-depth chats with Slash, Peter Frampton, Billy Gibbons and Ozzy Osbourne; we discussed impending retirement with Kiss; remembered David Bowie’s star-studded 50th birthday bash with those who were there and so much more. One of my favourite pieces that we ran in the mag this year was the compelling (and tragic) story of grunge forerunners Bam Bam, fronted by the incendiary Tina Bell, and you can read that on page 44.
