ACT TO BEAT INSURANCE PRICE RISE
Chancellor of the Exchequer Phillip Hammond’s Autumn Statement is a mixed bag for classic owners, insurance premiums will increase, but fuel duty will not. The headline change is that Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) will
climb from 10% to 12% next June, forcing premiums up. All the major classic insurance companies agree that annual premiums will have to rise with it.
