ONE OF the easiest ways to learn 01 black-and-white architecture is to set your camera to the monochrome Picture Style. The wonderful thing about mirrorless cameras is that once set, it allows you to see the world in B&W. You will soon learn to see and spot subjects without the camera. Concrete and other building materials can be uncomplimentary to each other, so by removing their colour the picture becomes more satisfactory. Infrared monochromatic architecture is also exciting and worth exploring for a different portfolio.
