This issue has been fun to put together. Jonathan Dimmock has written an inspiring article about Sweelinck and Dean Jobin-Bevans and James Morley Potter have written together about Henry Aldrich. I think I would have enjoyed meeting him as he had ideas ahead of his time. Then there is Daniel Cook’s contribution about the Harrison & Harrison restoration of the organ in York Minster. I am looking forward to hearing it at some point. I can also recommend the programme created by James Dawson about transplanting organs instead of buying from new. We’ve known for many years that organs and organists are excellent at recycling and the programme explores all options and follows a re-installation from Durham to East London.

We also have education articles, reviews, and letters.
