On the cover are a pair of Foden ‘Speed’ wagons - the only two remaining in the world. This design was Foden’s last attempt at competing in the steam lorry market in the 1930s but they had limited success. Read the fascinating story of how these two managed to survive and how they came to be restored to immaculate condition by a collector in Aberdeen. We also bring you an update on a unique model of the Speed Six in 3 inch scale.
Ashely Best is always a popular writer and this issue we see the start of a new series in which he describes his latest award winning tram in ¾ inch scale; a Bolton gram with a significant history. As usual, the feature is hand illustrated in Ashely’s own, pleasing style.
