The news article over four pages in the 28 July issue on Mercedes-Benz’s future plans made me lose the will to live. Electrification is yawn inducing to me at the best of times, but this article set new standards. How? By the ridiculous overuse of acronyms: EQG (16 uses), EQS (eight), EQC (five) EQB (four), EQE (two), EQ (two) and one each for EVA, MBUX, EQV, MFA2, MMA-EV, MB.EA and AMG.EA. Which genius thinks that product identification of this nature will rouse the interest and spark the imagination of potential customers?

You could argue W125 or C220d is just as uninspiring as EQC or EQB – KC
A T-Cross to bear
As a Volkswagen T-Cross owner, I read your As Good As New article on it (4 August) with interest. I consider it a classic ‘style over substance’ car.
