Dancing Times  |  September 2016
This is the very last issue we will be bringing to you from our base at Clerkenwell House in Clerkenwell Green, as, from September 1, the company will be moving to a new office space located at the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) in Battersea Square, London (you can find the full address elsewhere on this page).
Although the staff of Dancing Times will be sad to leave the office we have so happily occupied for the past 35 years, it is with some excitement we now move to the new premises, as it will reinforce our already close links with the RAD. Readers may not be aware that in the early years of the 20th century, Philip Richardson, the founding editor of Dancing Times, played a formative role in the establishment of the RAD as a way of ensuring the art of dancing was properly taught to young people by teachers who were professionally trained; I can’t help but think he – and Mary Clarke, our Editor Emeritus – would wholly approve of our upcoming relocation.
Rest assured, the magazine will continue to offer you the very best in dance, and our telephone number and email addresses remain unchanged.
