Cyclist  |  Oct 2023 - 144
This month’s Big Ride takes place in northwest Greece, in Epirus, a wild and mountainous land of ancient castles, mythical lakes and Mediterranean adventure. Meanwhile, back in Scotland, it was raining. But we had the Worlds! And in Cyclist issue 144 we have a stunning photographic lookback at the best bits all the best, from cycle-ball to the World Championships Road Race to dancing on bikes.
Our Classic Climb this month features the Col de Peyresourde, a grand old-timer of the Tour de France that’s as stunning as it is storied; we visit the London Bike Kitchen to meet a team pushing for maintenance for the masses; we ride the Isle of Skye (where it was actually brilliant sunshine); and we sit down for a chat with Zoe Bäckstedt.
Bikes on test include the all-new Factor O2 VAM, Passoni Titanio Disco and Lapierre Pulsium Allroad, plus a first look at Enve’s newest recruit, the gravel-ready Enve Mog.
