LONDON SHOW STRUGGLES TO WIN NEW FANS
Classic fans have called for the London Classic Car Show to lay on more exhibits and a wider variety of cars after attendance figures slumped for the first time in the event’s history. More than 36,500 people headed to the capital’s ExCeL exhibition last weekend for the four-day classic show, compared to 38,500 last year. The Grand Avenue displays celebrating the Mini’s 60th anniversary and Citroën’s centenary came in for particular praise, but
some of the exhibitors taking part told CCW that they would like to see more variety at next year’s event to boost the show’s appeal.
