DIGITAL PHOTO SKILLS
When you’re armed with minimal kit and a keen eye for detail, street
photography can be a gutsy and fascinating way to spend a day. The aim is to reveal the everyday happenings of people and society, although, contrary to what the name suggests, images don’t have to include a street at all.
Candids happen anywhere people gather and interesting behaviour unfurls. The challenge is remaining unnoticed to catch subjects off-guard. Once you learn how to blend in, the real fun begins. Taking photos in public is daunting
at first, but once you get going you’ll be hooked. It takes practice to know when to fire the shutter, so hone your instincts to capture the perfect moment.
