American Miniaturist  |  Issue 211
I t’s the holiday time of the year. Lot’s of cheer to be had no matter what is going on in the world.
One of the main reasons I love creating so much is that I know with each brush stroke or sculpt of the clay I am making this world
a more beautiful place. I hope you all have been talking some time to create. Even if it is an hour a day it’s good for the soul to visit your happy place and meditate.
I have been making Christmas elves to get myself into the holiday spirit. We would love to know what you have been making!
This issue is full of fun ideas and gorgeous projects. Elize van Es puts a fresh spin on a winter sled, Cecilie Richardson shares a beautiful dollhouse she has completed and so many others have great things to share, plus wonderful tips and tricks of the trade.
Enjoy the sparkle and joy during this time of year and even if your not building, you can always take some time to decorate your favorite dollhouse or scene. After all, if your not playing with your miniatures than why have them? Aren’t we so lucky to still have the
joy of a child in our hearts?
After reviewing each issue my heart is full
knowing there are so many that share my love for this art form. We are a special bunch and have a lot to give to the world. So don’t stop
creating and be sure to share your projects with those around you!
