Overlander 4X4  |  May-20
Britain may be in lockdown, but the May issue of 4x4 magazine has plenty to get you looking forward to the days ahead when we’re all able to get back out there and start enjoying our vehicles once again.
Instead of our usual green lane roadbook, for example, we’ve compiled a guide to 50 of Britain’s very best rights of way. These range from a Volkswagen T25 Syncro which has been transformed into a battered but brilliant off-road wagon to possibly the finest Land Rover Defender there’s ever been – Arkonik’s new LS3-engined 110 which, if you were to order one like it, would represent an investment of around £200,000.
Talking of investments, if you fancy owning something totally unique and very, very special, we’ve unearthed a Chevrolet Suburban whose owner took it to a US company that specialises in building rock-crawlers – and brought home a jaw-dropping show car combining the presence of a full-size SUV with the off-road ability of a proto. Seriously, you’ve got to see this one to believe it…
