Western Angler turns 200 with our October-November 2018 issue!
Having started back in 1985, it is our 200th edition and we've paid tribute to that rich history by choosing some of our all-time favourite covers.
There's a montage of nine classic cover shots on this cover, with six of the best inside, along with words from those involved with the pictures.
As well as being our 200th, there is plenty of essential reading on fishing around WA and beyond.
With the weather starting to warm up in the northern part of the State, the WAngler team takes a look at shore barra fishing, with some great tips from the experts.
Alanna Hubbard reveals the fun to be had by crab scooping in the Peel-Harvey and Ben Little reveals just how good the fishery at the Cocos Islands is.
Emma George visits the Abrolhos Islands with some lovely lady anglers and the Travelling Angler finds Scott Coghlan putting spin gear to good use on South Island trout in New Zealand.
Jamie Kiddle also reveals his tips for keeping your boat running at its best.
There's also a number of great columns.
Mark Smith considers ways you can get innovative with rob building for shore fishing, and Peter Anderton looks what type of outfits are best for stopping powerful demersals.
Darryl Hitchen returns to Wilderness Island and Paul Tuckwell discusses the essentials of kayak rigging.
When it comes to fisheries management, Jamie Chester believes proactive is better than reactive, and Curtis Waterman gets funky with some new styles of fishing photos.
We catch up on what's happening in the tournament bream scene with Shane Owens and Dale Sniffen has a great recipe for barra.
All subscribers go into the draw to win two fantastic lures packs from Wilson Fishing.
Established in 1985, Western Angler is the benchmark for regional fishing magazines in Australia.
