We may still be wrapping up against the winter chill, but there is definitely a feel of spring in the air, and with that comes the promise of spotting bright and beautiful flowers – in fact, I’ve already seen a handful of daffodils on my way to work! A new season also spells time for new floral trends, so we’ve had an exclusive chat with the fabulous Joanne Truby (page 26), who has dusted off her crystal ball to reveal her predictions for the forthcoming year. Speaking of trends, we’ve discovered that more and more couples are choosing to display their big day blooms in pots – turn to page 22 for our take and inspiration on this rustic idea. We’ve also got some fabulous ideas if you want to adorn your big-day cake with fresh or sugar blooms – turn to page 24 for plenty of gorgeous concepts and imagery. You’ll also find a whole world of inspiration amongst our glossy pages, from our moodboards (pages 12 to 17), and our crafty makes (page 66) to our beautiful fashion pages (from page 49). And of course, we’ve handpicked our favourite reallife weddings (from page 31) – we think you’re going to love them – it’s getting harder and harder to pick a favourite! This issue I am particularly enthralled by the beautifully French and romantic Lavender Love reception inspiration on page 62. Girly and pretty, it is wonderfully dreamy and just utterly enchanting – and with lilac hues set to be one of the biggest colours of 2016, you can’t go wrong! Lastly, if you turn to page 48 you’ll see a fantastic chance to win a gorgeous lingerie set from our friends at Passionata... your H2B will thank you for it! Enjoy the issue.
