Issue #59 of Vintage Trucks & Commercials Magazine is filled with plenty of vintage trucking stories on some of Australia's most historic brands. In this issue, we cover a detailed pictorial spread on the works of Warren Noakes, where Tony Petch covers the iconic trucks that have ‘Hauled the Hume’. We have Part 1 of a new series by Darren Hingston which covers the importation of Pacific Trucks from Canada and their use in Australia’s island state and Paul Tol covers a great story on the transport history of the Copper Coast in South Australia – with ‘In the Shed’.

We have a look into the evolving story of “The Classical Era of Border Coaches” from their humble origins – to how they expanded their fleet and routes throughout Queensland and New South Wales, we look at the commercial vehicles on display at the 36th All British Day which was held in February in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia. Cam McFadyen delivers us the entertaining story of Barnes Auto Co and their memorable catchphrase ‘We Never Sleep’, which discusses the humble beginnings of this towing company in the 1920s. Also this issue are restoration articles on a rare International ASC-162 called ‘UGLY’ and a unique W model Kenworth, which was the first in Buntine’s Transports first Kenworth in a fleet of Mack trucks.

This issue we have our first Findaword, and as always there we have news and letters from our readers, Truck Art, Forgotten Names in Transport and the our newly expanded classifieds section where a host of trucks and others items are up for sale or are wanted.
