As my fi rst editor’s act I would like to thank Joan Gordon for all her hard work in the last eighteen months bringing Making Jewellery to life. She has worked tirelessly and the result is this project packed exciting magazine that you hold in your hand today. Here at GMC Publications she is held in high regard and we all wish her well in everything she does. Joan continues with us as a contributor and in this issue she takes us through the trials and tribulations of bronze clay along with showing us how to make a beautiful coral necklace. I would also like to welcome our new designer Kendra Grey, she has just joined the team along with myself and is already settling in well. So a little bit about me! I have been a reader of this magazine from issue one and truly believe it to be a superb publication. I have a BA(hons) degree in three dimensional design and have been working as a designer in a variety of fi elds for 20 years. I simply love jewellery, anything and everything about jewellery is my passion. I hope as the editor to inspire you, enthral you with excellent features and teach you new skills to widen your jewellery making horizons. As a start to what I hope to be our great making journey together, it is apt that this month is our holidays and resorts issue. We have a myriad of amazing projects for you and three new contributors! Th is month we introduce Claire Braunbarth with a new fabric bead technique, Ellie Williams with a tree bark inspired hammered copper bracelet and Leigh Armstrong, who brings us an eclectic range of wrapped metal clay bracelets that are stunning and a personal favourite. I can’t wait to fi nd a frog to mould! Finally, I would love to hear from you the reader, please email mjeditor@thegmcgroup.com or write to me at the address below with your thoughts about the magazine.

Making Jewellery

Great projects
Revisto 26 março 2020

Great magazine

I'm really enjoyed this issue. It was so good that I've purchased a subscription to this magazine. Revisto 09 março 2017

good magazine app

I like this app;but the free issue I got took forever to download. Other than that, just like the newsstand issues. I wish the single issues were a little cheaper.I realize this magazine cost more on newstands because it is an import, but digital??? Love the contents~and the pictures show up wonderfully.
