In the soul-searching that will follow a likely Conservative defeat in the coming election, he would be a kingmaker on the right of British politics.
GB News has become a platform for right-wing politicians and commentators—as well as conspiracy theorists. In mid-March, five of its programmes were found by the regulator, Ofcom, to have broken broadcasting rules. The channel still faces multiple ongoing investigations by the watchdog.
