Patchwork and Quilting  |  November 2014
And here it is! Our 250th issue! A remarkable milestone in the longest running magazine for patchwork and quilting in the UK! We have a mixture of traditional and contemporary projects for you this month. The Lady Rose Quilt is a traditional appliqué quilt featuring fabrics from the latest Downton Abbey collection, while the Terrific Twenties Quilt has a modern yet classic feel to it. The Wild Zinnia Cushion is a lovely project to make if you haven’t tried foundation piecing before and Black, Red and White Allover uses a basic collection from EQS to create a stylish quilt. Our features include a History of P&Q and the second part of Go West Young Man where we look at the story of feedsack quilts. Finally, to celebrate this being our 250th issue we have the results of our 250 Shades of Red make it competition.
