If there’s a theme to this month’s issue, it’s classic Fiats. We’ve been inspired by visiting Turin to see FCA’s amazing new Heritage Hub – a huge new space devoted to the crown jewels of Fiat, Lancia and Abarth. We also celebrate 50 years of Fiat’s pioneering 128, Abarth’s classic 124 Rally and look into Fiat’s future with the Centoventi ‘new Panda’ concept. Other future classics previewed this issue include Alfa’s exciting Tonale SUV and no fewer than two new Ferraris. Classic coachbuilding names are also undergoing a big revival in 2019, as we discover though the fabulous new cars you can buy from Touring, Pininfarina and many others. Add in superb shows like Turin’s Automotoretro, Elton John’s Ferrari Boxer and possibly the last V12 Lamborghini ever, and we think this month is a slice of heaven for Italian car lovers.
