Yamaha unveil new ‘weeble’ tech
Remember ‘weebles’, the toy that would ‘wobble, but won’t fall down’? Well, Yamaha are now mirroring other manufacturers’ efforts to bring those same sensibilities to motorcycles in an attempt to reduce rider injuries and deaths. BMW and Honda have already shown similar systems, and Yamaha appear confident that they can now make their system small enough for production.

Super-sized tarmac crawlers
If you measure your happiness in terms of wanting – and having – more of everything, then this trio of motorcycling excess will already have grabbed you by the adrenal gland. With Ducati taking their cruiser-superbike into V4 territory this year, have they given it the minerals to stomp on Triumph’s gargantuan inline triple or Kawasaki’s supercharged naked? Only way one to find out…

Paco Bulto’s epic trials and errors
The father of the modern trials bike; the factory force behind a big chunk of Sammy Miller’s success; and grandfather to Sete Gibernau – who was Paco Bulto, and why did his Bultaco brand go from boom to bust? We delve into the fascinating back-story about the Spanish aristocrat who transformed the shape of motorcycle trials forever

MotoGP’s hottest new title hopeful
Marco Bezzecchi was the king of cool in Argentina, storming to his maiden MotoGP win – and delivering the same for the VR46 squad in the process. So how does this likeable young star feel about breaking his duck and leading the championship as it heads to CoTA – and the fact that he’s giving those lapsed Rossi fans someone to cheer for again?

The old stalwart

MCN is heavily weighted for motorcycle sport. GP, Motocross, trials etc with more adverts than you can shake the proverbial stick at. I do not know how many contributors they are but it must be hundreds. There is a good reason to buy the digital version as the paper is usually so thick many trees must have died. The reviews are always spot on. I hope it goes on for many more years. Reviewed 27 April 2019
