Honda’s all new adventure bike wowed the crowds on its recent launch in
South Africa, but now it’s here in the UK there’s a rather big question to be
answered. Africa Twin: say hello to the class-defining BMW R1200GS. Let's leave the bush unbeaten and just say it. Honda’s new CRF1000L Africa Twin is not as good as the BMW R1200GS. Simple, or rather, it’s that simple if you’re looking for a bike to feel, perform and respond like a GS. Remove your GS blinkers and the Honda rapidly proves to be good. Actually, make that great.
