SPORT IN THE SUN: THRILLING HILLTOP DRIVES
Along line of 4x4s trailed away from beautiful Crogen hall. It could have been the start of any shooting day, except that the sun was shining, it was already roasting hot at 9:30am, and the day’s quarry was clays, not gamebirds. Crogen estate sits on the river Dee in north Wales, a short distance from the heart of Snowdonia. it has been in the robertson family since the 1890s and Queen Victoria once visited, declaring: “We have arrived in paradise.” it certainly is a stunning spot and was particularly glorious on this early June
day, when a group of twelve guns visited for a simulated game day, arranged and hosted by game on Shooting.
