EUROPE’S FIRST provider of scheduled flights using the semi-private jet concept, Travelcoup has entered into a strategic partnership with Germany’s Gekko Hotel and hospitality group.
Travelcoup offers VIP scheduled flights, which it says “offer the amenities of a private jet at a businessclass price”. The new flight plan will begin in July 2024 with five weekly connections from Munich and Zurich to Mallorca and Ibiza, operated by its 22-seat Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft. The company plans to grow its fleet to five aircraft by the end of 2024.
Commenting on the partnership, Travelcoup CEO Niclas Seitz said: “We are very pleased about the co-operation. With their extensive experience in the hotel and hospitality industry, they have identified a gap in the market for a unique travel experience where the journey to the destination is already an experience.
