EXCLUSIVE INSIDE STORY 'WELSH TT IS GO'
Road racing will return to the UK mainland in 2018 with an event set to explode into action in the Brecon Beacons on August 4-5. And TT stars such as Dean Harrison are already confirmed. The Welsh Road Race event is the brainchild of a number of key players within the road racing fraternity including Derek Smith (Chairman of Aberdare Park and General Secretary of East South Wales ACU) and Phil Morris (team manager and owner of Oswestry Road Racing Museum). Former BSB and TT winner Steve Plater is also heavily involved in theproject and is the event’s Safety and Rider Liaison Director. The Clerk of the Course is Gary Thompson, the highly respected Clerk of the Course for the Isle of Man TT.
