Keeping with the theme of wood, Ben & Lois Orford show you how to make wooden tongs to use at home or in the woods. Jason Ingamells commences a new series on the UK’s Iconic Trees starting with the Ash Tree.
I would also like to welcome Naomi Walmsley from Outback2Basics who commences her series of articles looking at primitive skills, read her first article about cooking with your bare hands. We are delighted to welcome back Pablo with his first in a series on using your senses in field craft.
Do you wish you knew your knots better? Well Craig Fordham shows you how in a photographic step-by-step guide to some simple but very useful knots to use when putting up a tarp.
