When you look at the roadgoing Ferrari Daytona you can see why Enzo Ferrari didn’t consider that it could be a racing car. Fortunately the dealers and customers thought otherwise. To avoid possible embarrassment, Enzo did not officially sanction the cars but had them prepared by his customer assistance department. He need not have been concerned because the awesome competition Daytona proved to be very effective and popular – and loud!
